These are all pieces of things I have recently received in the mail. Most of which are for that writing class I’ve proposed but have no idea if I’ll get the position [there’s still one more book to order: The Love of a Good Woman by Alice Munro. A recommendation from a friend [“It’s also a fucking amazing book”] who sent his duplicate copy of Sunstroke by the amazing Tessa Hadley whom we both studied with at Bath Spa [Bath, England].]
Flying by Kate Millett was read by Alison Bechdel in her amazing graphic memoir Fun House, so I just HAD to order it [plus Millett is from Minnesota. Must support the home blood].
On the bottom there’s a new Poets & Writers. It has stuff about writing contests. You know, whether or not to enter, the dos and don’ts. That sort of thing. I seriously have an amazing summer ahead of me.
